@QuintonLucasKC I hate to say it but, I was a witness and the driver was making a LEFT turn on the street while she was coming straight across and he turned her body in the direction he was going. They were on opposite sides of the street where the light was green on both sides, unfortunately.

@QuintonLucasKC a child was struck by a car this am on her way to Ingles at longview and food lane. She lost so much blood from impact that her lips were blue when EMS arrived. There is no cross walk on that corner for kids to cross safely.

@MayorLucasKC a child was struck by a driver this AM at the intersection of longview and food lane, crossing to go to Ingles. To paint a very vivid picture, she lost so much blood from impact, that her lips were blue when EMT arrived. There's no cross guard on that busy street.
