@penelope_zone We have a Coway Mighty air purifier with HEPA filter and it's made a HUGE difference in my allergies. It's cool because it has a colored light that goes red to purple to blue as it removes pollutants from the air.

@thejonanshow This allows the junior to spend some time working independently first, but maximizes the time the junior and mentor have together when the mentor has other responsibilities. Plus it gives the junior practice communicating technical concepts--super important early in their career!

@thejonanshow If the junior doesn't already know how, teach them how to give necessary context to the mentor when they're asking for help. IE, "Here's what I'm trying to do/the expected behavior, but this unexpected thing happens, I've already tried x, and I'm stuck because..."

@devdyke It’s low tech, but the last time I was trying to configure furniture in a new space, I made proportionally sized templates out of graph paper and moved them around, and it REALLY helped me figure out what I could fit and what I couldn’t. You just need measurements for each piece!
