When the time came, the fear and dementia changed everything and our previous conversations were irrelevant. Somethings are hard to plan for.

@fopminui I helped my mom keep knitting during early dementia. She made dozens of sock tubes (I add heels and toes) and blanket squares (I assembled five large blankets). Unfortunately her dementia has advanced and she is angry and frustrated by the loss. I hope your mom remains happy.

@CalamityJayne4 @Lifetouch I paid about $40 for my kid’s school photos this year and then $130 plus $30 for the sitting fee for the same number of prints. Such a scam! Sure it took more time and there were more poses and some props. But shouldn’t the sitting fee cover that?

@ReignOfApril I’m a knitter but that is an all consuming hobby so be careful. I paint watercolour cards so I don’t have to buy any. They look like a child painted them but I add some black pen and they make me happy. I’m also curious about reverse colouring. I just heard of it.
