@SealSixty what part of the working from height regs do you not understand? Lucky one of your staff wasn’t killed today working in herts, SG7. Utter madness.
ICYMI - the line through #Newington is closed by a landslip, with @Se_Railway + @TLRailUK trains replaced by buses between Gillingham and Sittingbourne. In this video, our geotechnical expert explains what happened what we're doing about it...⬇️
❄️ There's lots of snow and ice around so please check before you travel and take care while in and around stations today. Don't be like the driver of this car, who abandoned ship on the railway near #StoneCrossing last night and wasted emergency service time and people. Thanks❄️
📆 Dates for key works on our £1.2billion #EastCoastUpgrade have today been confirmed, with a programme aimed at delivering major improvements for passengers on the East Coast Main Line as soon as possible.

We’ve now joined our friends @NetworkRailSE on the #Airwaves radio network.
Now we can respond to incidents such as a bridge strike or landslip much quicker to get 🚆 moving again & join-up with orgs like @btp when we need to.

@jeppy1963@NetworkRailSE The grey steel plate (looks like they’ve missed a bit) was a brand new replacement for an old rusting plate that was beyond repair. It will have its green paint coat completed shortly....
VIDEO: It's time for a big THANK YOU to everyone for their patience while we carried out 9 days of signalling, track and stations work at #HitherGreen (the stations work continues!). This video explains what + why we did it, and our massive thanks to @Se_Railway passengers ⬇️
I guess this is goodbye...
After 45 years of signalling trains, London Bridge signalbox is silent, thanks to an £81m scheme going on at #HitherGreen this week. More on what, where and why here ⬇️

We’ve been filling your timelines with #HitherGreen content this week to show what we’ve been doing while no @Se_Railway trains are running in the area, and now it’s time for a serious #geekthread! What is signalling and why are we replacing it? /1
We posted a video earlier that was totally black, like one of those "Kent by night" postcards from the 1980s. Apologies for our technical ineptitude.
Here it is - showing our lovely @prorailuk road-rail vehicles trundling through #HitherGreen to pick up scrap rail just now...
Work continued through the night on the #HitherGreen resignalling project. Here’s a couple of nice shots of some of the signal gantries being replaced and refitted by the civil engineering teams ready for operation on 3 August. @Se_Railway
Don't forget! For the next nine days, lines through #HitherGreen will be closed for £81 million worth of resignalling work to improve journey reliability. Replacement buses are in operation. All the project & travel information you need is at: https://t.co/V8cR2wj7qv @Se_Railway
There's just three days to go until the #HitherGreen resignalling project gets underway. We're doing this work now to avoid failures of the life-expired equipment and to provide a more reliable train service. Find out more at: https://t.co/V8cR2wAIi3 @Se_Railway
A major project to replace life-expired signalling equipment will take place over nine days from 25 July affecting lines through #HitherGreen. Find out more information, plan your journeys in advance and complete our short survey at: https://t.co/V8cR2wAIi3
We're replacing the old and unreliable signalling in the Hither Green area from 25 July to 2 August.
Do you plan to travel over the 9 days? Please take this poll to help us and @Se_Railway plan alternatives for passengers still travelling.
We're into day two of the #Eastleigh to #Fareham track renewal programme.
Today we've introduced the New Track Construction (NTC) train which is laying track near #Botley. Here it is approaching Tapnage Tunnel, the focus of our renewal programme.
@SW_Help
5️⃣ Separate landslips between East Grinstead and Lingfield have been a huge challenge!
👷♂️👷♀️ We've worked (safely) round the clock and are on track to reopen next Monday - enabling key workers another route for their essential journeys. 👍
@BAMNuttall @NetworkRailSE
A massive thank you to @Se_Railway passengers for their patience this week during the 9-day #Bexleyheath line closure. The railway reopened at 3.10am and the first trains ran soon after (below).
The 9-day line closure at #Bexleyheath is almost complete - thanks to our passengers and neighbours for their patience. We couldn’t undertake such projects without the support of the communities we run through #thankyou @Se_Railway
