The NRM is undertaking a four-day exercise of display and update of its Members' Register effective tomorrow, Wednesday, Jan. 29th to Saturday, February 1st, 2025. Three days will be for the display exercise while the 4th day will be for village Barazas.

This shall be done in every NRM Branch(Village) across the country.

Happy to visit Mzee Martin Kananura at his Rwenjeru demonstration farm in biharwe. He is into dairy & breeding, bananas, and aquaculture . I thank him for doing modern farming yet using simple and cost-effective approaches.

Now that people are retiring, they must do so with something reasonable. It is crucial for our fighters to have what they need to prosper.

As they transition, I urge them to embrace wealth-creation activities in a safe and sustainable manner. They should not gamble with their future but invest wisely in durable opportunities.

Yesterday, I presided over the retirement ceremony of Army Generals Silver Kayemba, Charles Kisembo, Godard Busingye, Fred Karara, and CA Kasaija. Their service to our country has been invaluable.

We worked hard to ensure that our soldiers retire with a good package. In line with this commitment, we established a casualty unit in Mubende. It is essential that soldiers who have been injured or disabled while serving in the army are not left in vulnerable situations upon their return to their villages, especially considering the low salaries they receive.

The contractor will start the demolition of the concrete deck immediately to allow major works for its restoration, an exercise expected to last three months.

A nursery/primary teacher must have a degree. MP, president need A level certificate.

Amazing how law makers are making fools of themselves. A degree paper qualification for all, except themselves .

Imagine a country where a chair of an ICT Committee in parliament who can't even open his own Gmail, but part of a house pressing primary teachers to get degrees.

I was happy to commission a facility built by the Special Forces Command (SFC) at their headquarters in Entebbe.

The UPDF's journey and survival from Fronasa/NRA result from our ability to adapt to every situation through meticulous situational analysis.
Prioritization is critical to our success. Focusing on what truly matters ensures our effectiveness instead of just being everywhere. I therefore congratulate the CDF, engineering brigade, contractors, and everyone involved in this project.
