🚨 This morning around 9:30am, while our Waha community kitchen was serving food, three shells fired by the RSF landed in the street nearby.
Those in the queue at the time were quickly sheltered in the neighbouring houses as soon as the first shell fell. Fortunately, no one was injured. However, due to the danger, it was decided to suspend the morning food service. Those who hadn’t been served were asked to return in the afternoon, and they were served then.
We are sharing this to emphasize the personal risks our @KhartoumKitchen volunteers take to feed the hungry in their communities.

Glad to see the work of our initiative being featured on an ABC News Live Prime segment about the dire humanitarian situation in Sudan.
@TurtleYusuf explains some of the work we do in the Khartoum state area in a conversation with ABC’s @marcusmoore#KeepEyesOnSudan
Yesterday, when we found Sadiq, no aid organizations were present in his neighborhood.
He chose to starve himself so his children could eat, which left him wheelchair-bound.
We’re now providing food for him and others there. Please support this effort:
