I love the marketing of things we don't need or even wanted until told our lives would improve if we had them.
Name brands are my favorites.
Convincing us to wear clothes with someone else's name on them was pure genius.
I look for the good in people. Sometimes I get hurt for it, but it's rare and it's worth it. You may hear me say optimistic things that sound naive. I'm not naive. I've read too much history to be naive. I just think love wins out over the darker parts of human nature in the end.
Things I care about:
- love
- friendship
- hard work
- difficult ideas
- unsolved problems
- deep conversations
- humans, the best & the worst
Things I don't care about:
- money
- fame
My life path, to the best of my ability, will never be based on the latter.
@tequilaVillaLob@FaniiCamarena Ok. Got to ask. What's the difference between the Tapatio 110 55% Abv. and the Villa Lobos 55% Abv. Distillation Strength Tequila? 🤔
Yikes. More Agave doom and gloom :/ ..."at the rate of the current exploitation of the Agave plants are only available for the next three years." #Durango#Mezcal https://t.co/eUO289wPCZ
Harvested tobalá #agave, a wild species that has become very popular but which can take twice as long as espadín to mature and has a much smaller yield. There are some who worry about it's sustainability but are outnumbered by those who just care about the great taste.
And just to clarify the laws governing mixto tequila. If a tequila product bottled outside Mexico claims it's anything but mixto tequila 51% Agave 49% other sugars, they are completely bullshitting you :/
