The thing is, you don’t know if they are armed or not ! most of the time these intrusions happen either at night time or early in the morning. and there’s really no time to put on your glasses and check and see if the person is armed …do they have a gun? Do they have a knife? What do they have? So I think shooting them is perfectly logical!…at least you might maim them and save your life.. I think when people know that there are guns in the house ..that they’ll think twice before coming in.

There is absolutely no reason on Gods green earth
for any religious group to take over, on a regular basis, a public space and impose their religious services on the public. Most people have a designated building to go to, and they can do that in there. Anyone who constantly occupy public space for their religious rituals should fined and/ or forcefully removed.

This is not just another policy statement or press release. This is action.

We are talking about everything from politically sensitive information to content labeled as “hate speech” or even material governments classify as extremist.

“I messed up,” the air traffic controller said at the end of a recorded effort to direct traffic around a nightmare on Runway 4 at LaGuardia. (audio attached)

Here’s what’s been reported so far:

A United Airlines flight reported a strange odor onboard and declared an emergency while still on the ground. Fire crews were dispatched.

A fire truck was cleared to cross Runway 4 to respond.

At the same time, an Air Canada Express regional jet was operating on that same runway.

The aircraft collided with the fire truck during the crossing.

What we know:
• Two fatalities: the captain and first officer of the Air Canada aircraft
• 13 total injuries, including 2 fire/rescue personnel with more serious injuries
• Remaining injuries were passengers and crew with mostly minor to moderate conditions
• Airport operations were shut down

Right now this appears to be a breakdown in runway coordination during an active emergency response.

(My heart breaks for all involved including that air traffic controller who at the end clearly realizes what has happened and why.)
