📢 The Barbro Klein Fellowship Programme 2027–2028!
The Barbro Klein Residential Fellowship Programme supports research that explores cultural diversity from a global perspective.
The programme welcomes scholars from the humanities and social sciences whose work focuses on topics such as cultural and social diversity, cultural heritage, creativity, societal systems, public engagement and resistance, as well as diverse cultural expressions in both local and international contexts.
The fellowship especially encourages applications from promising early-career researchers from non-Western countries and individuals from underrepresented genders, although scholars from all backgrounds are welcome to apply.

• Autumn Semester: 1 September – 17 December 2027
• Spring Semester: 11 January – 16 June 2028

💰 Support & Benefits
Selected fellows usually receive a monthly stipend during their fellowship period. Applicants are also encouraged to seek additional funding support from sabbatical schemes, grants, or their home institutions.
Accommodation is generally arranged and funded by the Collegium for fellows residing outside the Stockholm–Uppsala region. In certain situations, accommodation may also be offered to Stockholm-based fellows who face commuting difficulties.
