@elonmusk We all know Butch and Suni weren’t “stranded by the Biden administration”, they were stranded by Boeing. For those of you new here, there’s been a shuffle of missions which ultimately led to the astronauts (who have safely been on the ISS since June) having to wait until March.
This is why these DEl conversations are funny to me.
The BIack guy had to be a Brigade commander, Division commander, Corps commander, MuIti-NationaI Corps Commander, United States Forces Commander, Vice Chief of Staff of Army, United States CentraI Commander, get awarded the SiIver Star, and be a four star GeneraI to even be considered for the Secretary of Defense.
MeanwhiIe the other guy just had to be in the Army....SMDH
@ADL@elonmusk 19 year old student says 'Free Palestine'
Antisemitic!
Musk backs Germany's AfD and antisemitic replacement theories. Buys Twitter so Nazis load at the top. Sieg Heils multiple times.
Give him the benefit of the doubt!
The @ADL has one job. But @JGreenblattADL can't do it.
It's gone pretty under the radar with everything else going on, but the collapse of Republican State Senator @LisaStoneBarnes' agricorp in Nash county stinks like a hog farm in August.
(They grow sweet potatoes, not hogs, but you get it)
Barnes Family Farm is one of the biggest agricorps in North Carolina. "Family farm" is misleading - it's a sprawling agri-empire that spans 20,000 acres across 3 counties. The Barnes family are extremely wealthy. @LisaStoneBarnes is a Republican state senator representing Nash, Franklin and Vance counties, and chaired the Senate Agriculture committee.
The Barnes' have now defaulted on a series of loans they took out, totaling $40 million. A Nash county judge said in his court order that farm revenues “are either not being collected, or are not being paid to [Rabo Agrifinance] and are thus being lost, wasted, transferred, concealed or impaired.” (italics added)
Concealed? Transferred? You don't say?
The NYT did an investigation on girl influencers last year, and i’ll be pulling quotes from that report.
Most of these are started with completely innocent intentions: an effort to jump-start a modeling career, sharing dance, gymnastics or cheer videos with family and friends.
But it's important to remember that the second you post a photo online publicly, you are creating the base of your child's digital footprint.
In short: if you're going to show your kids online (don't), never ever ever show them bathing, changing, eating, in swimsuits or dancewear (leotards, 2 pieces etc). Videos of little girls eating corndogs or licking ice cream get way more engagement and are saved by adult men for a reason.
You might think I'm the friend who's too woke, and maybe I'm biased because I experienced CSA, but I can't imagine any parent is naive enough to not figure out what audience they've been pandering to.
Blake Lively's sexual harassment and retaliation complaint against Justin Baldoni is very well-evidenced for a pre-discovery complaint.
She quotes many juicy and damning text messages among Baldoni's publicity team.
How did she get those texts? It's a good tale, I think. 🧵
