This is complete nonsense. Bundee was amazing for Connacht from day 1. He was pro 12 player of the season in his 2nd year with Connacht. He was the key play, helping Connacht to win their first ever trophy that year.
What a joke. There was no talk of this respect towards a ref after the Heineken Cup Final in 2023. As regards "respect for all" Gerry Thornley lays out the respect Connacht have been shown down through the years. https://t.co/UcbGBMYXO7
@vincent_ward@sami_sp Also, the experience of walking from a city centre to a stadium is so much more enjoyable than getting buses etc. Sale Sharks is a good example. You get a bus out to an industrial estate out in Salford. It's just not enjoyable.
Pure nonsense here on Second Captains. All the teams that use each stadium's pitch could not just use one pitch. That's not to even consider all the women's and underage teams. There are so many reasons this could not work.
@vincent_ward@sami_sp I don't think that works Vincent. This time of year you could have all 3 teams playing at home on one weekend. I don't think that's possible logistically. Also Dexcom and Eamonn Deacy park's main strength is their location.
@vincent_ward@sami_sp You'd kill Galway United and Connacht rugby by going out there. Also pitch size doesn't work for GAA and rugby or soccer to share. GUFC and Connacht could share in theory but it'd have to be in the city
Dylan Tierney Martin was injured in the warm up and didn't play. This message wasn't passed onto the TNT commentator who called Tadgh McElroy Dylan Tierney Martin for the whole game. BBC and Sky Sports were also confused
This has been misrepresented in the media today. It was announced nearly 4 years ago that Connacht would receive 20 million euro from the government. This has not increased today.
The Left Wing podcast is really good. Their content during the World Cup was great. It is the best free rugby podcast in Ireland in my opinion. Luke Fitzgerald has really grown on me. They discussed Garry Ringrose's missed tackles this week and it was very interesting.
