Netflixโs "Masaka Kids: A Rhythm Within", which follows the journey of the viral Masaka Kids Africana dance group from Ugandaโs south-western Masaka region, is one of the most touching documentaries I have watched in a long while (and I watch a lot). If you need your faith restored in humankind, this will do it.

We require a scientific study to investigate how this brand achieved ubiquity in professional and social gatherings / meetings in Uganda. One objective of the study should be to determine the source of the brandโs strength: does it lie in its name, its brand-building efforts, both, or other contributing factors? Additionally, the study should assess how the brand is performing against highly competitive new entrants and its strategies for sustaining success over the next 20 years, as it has done in the past.
Before hashtags trended and reels ruled the jungle, QG Group was already friending gorillas. ๐ฆ
Yes, Friend a Gorilla Uganda - the worldโs first campaign of its kind - aired on CNN, long before โgoing viralโ was a thing. Conceived, curated, and launched by QG Saatchi & Saatchi (now QG Group), this wasnโt just a campaign - it was conservation meets innovation, with world-class storytelling and pixel-perfect execution.
And guess what? I was lucky to call that powerhouse home - from 1996 to 2008. ๐ผ๐ง
Before threads, fleets, and algorithms, we were threading ideas that roared louder than a silverback.
@david_galukande, @Cylow and your creative battalions - still leading the charge, while the rest chase trends. Some of us left the agency... but the agency never left us.
@qggroupug - still my benchmark for what world-class looks like. Just saying.

Today I got an epiphany while tracing @ZohranKMamdani 's Ugandan Hiphop roots: He was Ahead of his time. 10-15 years ago when English speaking rappers were grappling with finding our identity, he had hacked how to fuse Kampala's urban culture with universal Hiphop beats.
@ZohranKMamdani For the best of Ugandan HipHop and urban culture, catch @JoyTushabe every Saturday on the Jumpoff from 4pm-6pm on @StreamUGRadio https://t.co/sUABXGS53N
@ZohranKMamdani The execution of songs like "Spice " and "Banda" strike the balance of being authentically indigenous while having mass Hiphop appeal. A feat we ugandan rappers are currently taking on
