A working software is a good software. Sometimes we try to optimize shit first rather than fixing that bug that make more impact for the end user experience.

Frontends should be dumb af. do the heavy works in the backend sometimes we end up with a crazy unmanageable state in the frontend is because we do things we shouldn't do in Frontend.

Writing a test for the sake of writing a test is the shittiest thing you can do as an engineer. write tests that are useful or don't bother.

when extending a heavily used type in TS I will make the newly added key optional to keep me sane. make shit work then refactor. I don't know if anybody else does this lol.

@Rich_Harris Well, this is outdated. The consensus mechanism for $eth is changing. Pow is the shitty part once pos is implemented the amount of resources needed to reach consensus will be much less. Most of the chains today like polkadot is already built on pos.
