This is Paul Auster during his 4321 book tour here in San Francisco, in 2017. My favorite work is Leviathan. Very sad to hear of his passing yesterday from lung cancer. I am currently fighting my own battle with breast cancer, and hate this disease more than ever.

These last few days, I have realized how lucky I am to be surrounded with friends and family who really care for my wellbeing. I am overwhelmed by their love and generosity. I couldn’t ask for more. We should all reach out to each other, unhesitatingly.
