THE RETURN OF THE LIVING DEAD sequel is officially targeting a theatrical release in November 2026, bringing the cult zombie franchise back to the big screen for the first time in more than two decades.

Directed by Steve Wolsh, the new film stars Devon Sawa, Casimere Jollette and Kynlee Heiman, with Alexander Ward taking on the iconic role of Tarman.

The story takes place after the original 1985 movie and follows another Trioxin outbreak threatening a small town, keeping the franchise’s signature mix of zombies, gore and dark comedy alive.

November 13 is currently listed as the planned release date, meaning the dead are finally preparing to rise again in theaters.
