🚨UTTA Holds Successful Annual General Meeting(AGM) 2026•
The Uganda Table Tennis Association today successfully held its AGM at Hotel Africana - Kampala, bringing together delegates representing 75 member clubs from 75 districts across Uganda.
Key outcomes of the AGM included:
✅ Unanimous ratification of the UTTA Executive Board
✅ Admission of new members to the UTTA General Assembly
✅ Presentation of the 2026–2027 Work Plan and UGX 2 Billion Budget
✅ Governance guidance from Ms. Diana Kwesiga, Senior Legal Counsel of the National Council of Sports @NCSUganda1
Ms. Kwesiga emphasised compliance with the National Sports Act, 2023 noting that the ratification of the Executive Board by delegates from 75 districts demonstrated UTTA's national character and commitment to good governance.

🚨Today marks the conclusion of the national trials for the ITTF-Africa East Regional Championships 2026.
Following the trials, the top three athletes in each gender category have qualified to represent Uganda at the Regional Championships, scheduled for 20th–23rd May 2026 in Port Sudan, Sudan.

The Uganda Table Tennis Association invites top ranked players to compete in the national team trials in preparation for the ITTF-Africa East Regional Championships – Port Sudan 2026.

📅 Dates: 11th –12th April 2026 and

⏰ Time: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
The top-ranked players (February 2026 rankings) have been invited to battle it out in a round robin, best-of-five format for a chance to represent Uganda at the regional stage and potentially at the African Senior Championships 2026 later this year.

At the WTT Youth Contender in Havířov-Czech Republic, Patience Anyango🇺🇬 delivered an impressive performance to secure Silver in the U13 Girls’ Singles category.
Patience fought fiercely in the finals against Czech Republic’s Adela Brhelova in a thrilling five-game match but narrowly fell 2–3 (13–11, 2–11, 12–14, 11–6, 7–11).

🚨 WTT Youth Contender – Berlin 2026
Our very own Joseph Sebatindira 🇺🇬being awarded after an outstanding performance against Romero Luca from Spain in the Singles Final at the WTT Youth Contender in Berlin,Germany.
Joseph secured a brilliant 3–0 victory (11–9, 12–10, 11–7) to claim the title.
This achievement comes after months of dedicated training in France and winning the Boys U13 title at the 2026 WTT Youth Contender in Vila Real.
Congratulations to youngster Joseph Sebatindira and Coach Alvin Katumba🎊
📌Joseph now advances to the U15 knock out stages of the same series.
