Rt. Hon. Elvis Ayebare presided over the official swearing-in of Hon. Agaba Stewart, who took the oath for a historic second term as Sports Union Chairperson,the first leader at @MbararaUST to serve consecutive terms.

Alongside him, the entire Sports Union Executive was sworn in, officially commencing their 2026/27 mandate.

This team is now charged with building upon a legacy of 85% goal achievement and fostering a culture of excellence across all faculties.

Yesterday, I was sworn in for a second term as the 29th Chairperson of @MustSportsUnion
First leader in @MbararaUST history to serve two consecutive terms in such a position.
This is more than a milestone; it's a mandate to raise the standard even higher.

Hon. Stewart highlighted the groundbreaking partnership with Tayari West TV, marking the first time in Ugandan history an internal University game was broadcast live on TV.

@MbararaUST also secured its first Pepsi University Football League win in 12 years!

The term climaxed with MUST sending its largest-ever contingent (82 participants) to the AUUS games at UCU, returning as Scrabble Men's Champions and securing multiple medals in Karate, Chess, and Tennis.
