The debate between stablecoins and tokenized deposits is just getting started...

And @AllUnityStable's Alexander Hoeptner had some thoughts in the latest episode of RULEMATCH Spot On with @ian_simpson80 ⤵️

[Noelle Acheson @NoelleInMadrid]

Hey all!

Today’s Crypto is Macro Now looks at the changing stablecoins vs tokenized deposit debate – which will end up winning in volume and velocity? At stake is control of the innovation narrative, and also the extent to which our understanding of money changes.

"Even 1-2 percentage points..." - The potential for #stablecoins in the corporate world is vast...even if it all comes down to the tiniest of margins.

@AllUnityStable's Alexander Hoeptner explains why the cross-border currency market in Europe is so interesting...

The future is full of possibilities - even if some things never change...much.

Getting your salary is pretty basic - but earning yield on it by the minute (or even second) is...!!!

This conversation with @AllUnityStable's Alexander Hoeptner breaks it down 👇🏻

[RULEMATCH @rulematch]

Just "nice" to have? 🤔

The "uses cases" for tokenized money market funds are more varied than many people think.

@AllUnityStable's Alexander Hoeptner paints some "pictures" of what is possible...

[RULEMATCH @rulematch]

In case you missed it...in the noise...

[Cryptic @Cryptic_Web3]

🇩🇪 LATEST: @DeutscheBank, Germany's largest bank, plans to launch crypto custody for institutional and corporate clients in Europe later this year.

The service will initially support Bitcoin, Ether, USDC, EURC and EURAU, pending regulatory approval.

[RULEMATCH @rulematch]

It takes an ecosystem - even when building something as foundational as on-chain money.

This conversation between @ian_simpson80 and Alexander Hoeptner of AllUnity explains why...

https://t.co/83rJybVWjy

[AllUnity @AllUnityStable]

Building a regulated stablecoin requires strong infrastructure and trusted partners.

@AlexHoeptner joined @rulematch to highlight the important role @DWS_Group , @FlowTraders and @galaxyhq play in building the infrastructure layer behind the @AllUnityStable stablecoin ecosystem.

Or maybe the question isn't "can they" but rather...

...how fast?

The crossover between stablecoins and TMMFs is changing things that have been taken for granted for a long time.

👇🏻

[RULEMATCH @rulematch]

Can stablecoins and tokenized money market funds shake up the "monopoly of clearing houses"?

And how could they help mobilize a global pool of collateral?

Alexander Hoeptner of @AllUnityStable lays out the various possibilities on RULEMATCH Spot On.

[RULEMATCH @rulematch]

So banks do "get it" after all?

In fact, the most innovative ones have been around for quite a while already... 😉

https://t.co/j9h2Mf7LSw

[BeInCrypto @beincrypto]

Banks now account for nearly 23% of all crypto service providers under the EU's MiCA framework, doubling from 40 to ~80 in less than three months.

Led by German giants like Deutsche Bank and regional lenders, traditional finance is using MiCA’s fast-track notification process to rapidly claim European market share.

[RULEMATCH @rulematch]

The "big thing" to solve (still) for stablecoins...

Despite the vast potential for stablecoins in Europe (and beyond) - some things are still needed.

And - as usual - it has to do with "infrastructure"...

Alexander Hoeptner explains in detail why a "global on- off-ramp" for stablecoins will make a huge difference.
