My first episode has dropped, so I decided to cover three separate topics. Catholic mysticism, Sacrilege, and Protestant Infiltration of the Catholic Church. #Catholic https://t.co/qAyOEHw1k4
@realtjhaines 0% chance of getting away with it now that everybody knows. lol. The question is would you be more like St Dismas or more like Gestas afterwards? If St Dismas, you’ll end up having to return the cross anyways.
@catholic_dan7 Zacharias is talking like someone sitting on the sidelines observing the Church from the outside. The Church is the Mystical Body of Christ. If you want it to grow, go plant some seeds. If you want it to grow, go remove some weeds. Christ’s body is indefectible, nothing to worry.
She was one of the holiest women in Church history. And for a season, her mind was a war zone she didn't choose. She begged God to take the thoughts away. He didn't... at least not right away. What He said to her instead will change how you see every temptation you've ever been

Exorcism prayer for Church Bells 🔔
"At the sound of the bell... let all evil spirits be driven afar; let thunder and lightning, hail and storm be banished... causing them to tremble at the sound of this bell, and to flee at the sight of the holy cross engraved thereon."
"Whenever it rings may the enemy of the good take flight... the empire of Satan be terrified... and may a legion of angels stand watch over the assembly of your Church."
🎥 Notre-Dame Cathedral, Paris, France 🇫🇷
The Bells ring in commemoration of the 863 anniversary of the consecration of the cathedral. All Bells are rung including Emmanuel the biggest bell at 13 tons.

@pluant Heresy I find most common amongst liberal boomer Catholics and some younger radical leftist Catholics is “antinomianism”. They basically claim God wills certain mortal sins and deny moral law, such as homosexual relationships or fornication. I haven’t studied Cupich’s teachings.
"Gradually destroy all your evil habits, lest you bring on yourself a mass of temptations by stirring up all of your passions at once"
—St. Basil the Great
@theblessedsalt@BlueFox__94@grok He recommended daily mass in introduction to the devout life but it was usually not possible for most people back then due to work, and most locations didn’t offer it. It was weekly from what I read. I’m not an expert historian on that time period though, so I’d have to check it.
@5Solas Why is the beloved disciple the only disciple not to be martyred? Why was he given the task of looking over the beloved family of Lazarus along with Jesus’ mother? The Catholic tradition explains this. Why did he say “behold thy mother”?
@Xtopher_Uzo Just ask them why the beloved disciple was the only disciple not to be martyred. And ask them why was he given the task of looking over the beloved family of Lazarus along with Jesus’ mother. The Catholic tradition explains this, Protestants and most Catholics even are ignorant.
@theblessedsalt It’s a question of whether you committed mortal sin on whether you “must”. If you commit mortal sin, you must. If only venial sin, then confiteor and Eucharist itself absolves you, but temporal effects of sin are healed through penance, so frequent confession is recommended.
The newly ordained priest presents his manutergium to his mother, who keeps it for the rest of her life. According to this tradition, when she dies, the cloth is placed in her coffin between her hands as a sign that she offered her son to the priesthood.
@sitsio Should England bring back the Gallican Rite since we don’t know what the Celtic Rite used to look like? lol. I know it’s probably not possible but it would be interesting. Priest used to stand with his hands out like a cross.
@Joeinblack Excuse me for asking Father, but do you have any evidence this was an issue prior to Vatican 2? Or is this just your personal observation? The reason I ask, is because the issue I see most common in the Church today is Sacrilege. Too many take Eucharist without absolution.
