আজ এমন এক সময় এসেছে, যখন হাদির নাম উচ্চারণ করাটাই যেন অপরাধ। তাকে অচ্ছুত বানিয়ে ফেলার এক নীরব চেষ্টা চলছে। কেন তাকে কবি নজরুল ইসলামের পাশে সমাহিত করা হয়েছে, তা নিয়ে তথাকথিত সুশীল সমাজের নাক সিটকানোর শেষ নেই। অথচ ইতিহাস কখনো কারও অনুমতি নিয়ে লেখা হয় না।

পশ্চিমবঙ্গের মুখ্যমন্ত্রী মমতা ব্যানার্জি সম্প্রতি বলেছেন, হাদিকে কার নির্দেশে হত্যা করা হয়েছে তিনি তা জানেন। প্রশ্ন হলো, কেন আজও হাদির নাম সীমান্তের ওপার থেকে উচ্চারিত হয়, অথচ এপারে অনেকে তাকে বিস্মৃতির অন্ধকারে ঠেলে দিতে ব্যস্ত?

যারা হাদিকে অবজ্ঞা করে, তাকে টোকাই বলে অপমান করে, তারা আসলে কীসের প্রতিনিধিত্ব করছে? একবার ভেবে দেখুন, একজন মানুষকে কেন হত্যা করা হয়? হাদি কি ক্ষমতার জন্য লড়েছিল, নাকি আধিপত্যবাদের বিরুদ্ধে কথা বলেছিল? তার অপরাধ কি ছিল নিজের মাটি, নিজের দেশ এবং নিজের মানুষের পক্ষে দাঁড়ানো?

একজন মানুষকে হত্যা করা যায়, কিন্তু তার ধারণাকে হত্যা করা যায় না। হাদির রক্তের দাগ এখনো মুছে যায়নি। তার প্রশ্নগুলো এখনো উত্তর পায়নি। তার হত্যার বিচার এখনো হয়নি।

যতদিন বিচার না হবে, ততদিন হাদির নাম উচ্চারিত হবে। যতদিন আধিপত্যবাদ থাকবে, ততদিন প্রতিরোধের ভাষাও থাকবে। হাদিকে ভুলে যাওয়া মানে একটি জাতির আত্মমর্যাদার সংগ্রামকে ভুলে যাওয়া।

হাদিকে ভুলতে দেওয়া যাবে না।
হাদি হত্যার বিচার চাই।
সত্য প্রকাশ হোক, বিচার হোক, ইতিহাস কথা বলুক।
