@zeroskullx@IGN You don’t speak for me. Every time you people see me, you just parrot the exact same response. If you’re really “collectors,” then prove it—show me your physical game collections.
@aimkeyx@tasarren@RockstarGames True collectors are few and far between, accounting for barely 5% of all physical game buyers—and in places like North America, it's even lower.
@aimkeyx@tasarren@RockstarGames Because these greedy beggars just want to speedrun the game or test the waters, only to turn around and flip it immediately. That is what truly disrespects the developers who poured their hard work into crafting this game.
@PhantomCross97@NextGenPlayer Technically, this can be easily done, but logically, it is impossible unless the platform and publisher officially take a cut every time you transfer your game software license.
@goonfist@CultCage@InsiderGamingIG That’s about first-sale doctrine, not antitrust law.
Sony ALREADY has 100% digital pricing leverage. Killing physical removes second-hand options, but doesn't create a new monopoly—they've always held the gate.
@goonfist@CultCage@InsiderGamingIG You’re confusing media with distribution channels.
Sony ALWAYS controls 100% of PS licensing. Even without discs, retailers can still sell "Code-in-a-Box" with discounts. Discs vanishing doesn't make it a monopoly—that completely misunderstands basic antitrust law.
@oliver_drk This person is just a small account with only 85k followers—I have no idea why X keeps shoving their tweets down my throat every single day. Did someone buy a promotion for them, or are they paying for it themselves?
@oliver_drk Why does X keep shoving this person’s tweets down my throat? I literally do not care about the physical disc situation at all. I’ve hit 'not interested in MBG' twice already, but X refuses to get the hint.
@SteveSixerJones@Nycewithit1@xMBGx Because most players buy this game just to rush through it and resell it for cash rather than keep it, this practice harms not only hardware makers but also the developers who worked hard to create it.
@Shoushky Do you guys feel like only games like GTA 6 achieving native 4K/120Hz output actually deserve to have that labeled on the retail box? Plenty of indie titles and retro remasters managed to hit native 4K resolution at a rock-solid 120 FPS on the base PS5.
