Life for women in Canada 2026
If Alberta stopped sending any money to Ottawa tomorrow... within weeks you'd find out just how much of the so-called federal services we finance.
Ottawa is broke.
The start-up costs of an independent Alberta are nowhere near $400 billion.
Do we need embassies in every country the day after independence?
How are is it to print our own passports? We already have the facilities.
Do we really need Alberta Posts, or can we contract that out to a private organization?
Are border points along the SK, BC and YT urgent? We can quickly staff the ones along the USA border with our own people.
Our courts are sufficient.
We can get someone to physically print some money for us, and back it with the Alberta treasury, or we can just adopt another currency for the short term.
We can net out our share of the debt, with the $300 billion that the CPP Fund owes us.
OAS continues unchanged for anyone already collecting it.
EI takes a month to implement.
It's all fear-mongering. Our ancestors started out with nothing, and built this province. We can do this.
If you are an Albertan and think that voting for the @CPC_HQ is going to get you out of our current mess, I have a monorail to sell you.
The only choice for real change is voting for #AlbertaIndependence
Donald Trump DID NOT cause the recession in Canada, the liberal party of Canada caused this one and the one in 2020. I have to say Gen X & all subsequent gen’s are idiots. Never has the population of Canada been this retarded, voting for your own FAILURE. Utter lunacy
Carney's Government is currently talking about:
1: Non-Voluntary Medical Assistance in Dying;
2: Universal Basic Income;
3: Making the Bible hate speech;
4: Rejecting our most biggest trading partner for the EU;
5: Increasing the Industrial Carbon Tax by 600%.

🌹🛢️⛔️⚜️Part 2 : The "Queberta" Economy.
Danielle Smith speaks at length about how Alberta benefits from Quebec & is keen to work on the East West Energy Corridor, proposed by Mark Carney.
Danielle Smith never once mentions the oil sands or Alberta oil. Not once does she promote the idea of Alberta oil & gas powering Europe, via an Energy East style pipeline project, through Quebec.
People who thought Danielle Smith would be a fighter for Albertans, are getting a real eye opener today.
Smith is however working on her French, which will come in handy if she tries to run Federally for the Liberal government in the future.
Alberta Needs Stability - Not Political Gamesmanship
After years of fueling separatist rhetoric, weakening institutions, lowering referendum thresholds, and pushing constitutional conflict, the UCP suddenly wants Albertans to believe they are federalists.
It’s simply not credible.
You cannot spend years feeding division and then distance yourself from it once the political winds shift.
Albertans are frustrated and many of those frustrations are legitimate. But frustration with Ottawa is not the same thing as putting national unity, investment confidence, and Alberta’s stability at risk.
This government has spent years trying to speak to federalists and separatists at the same time.
And now the contradictions are catching up with them.
Alberta can be strong without being isolated.
We can stand up for Alberta while still respecting institutions, the rule of law, and the long-term stability this province depends on.
That’s the conversation we should actually be having.
Take a listen.

Blaming the previous government for weak economic growth would be more compelling if Mr. Carney wasn't also the Chair of the Liberals' Task Force on Economic Growth under the previous government. #cdnpoli
My statement on the new tariffs announced by the U.S.:
"Conservatives believe the American tariffs are unjustified and present another threat to our workers and our industries.
We are also deeply concerned about the findings of forced labour in Canadian supply chains.
Prime Minister Carney has been unable to speak clearly on this issue and for six years the Liberal government has continually failed to stop products using forced labour from entering Canada. This failure is now putting Canadian jobs and trade at risk.
Conservatives continue to call for the Liberal government to stop these products from entering our country."

Conservatives have consistently pandered to Quebec in pursuit of the “national unity” success Poilievre speaks about…. all at the expense to Western Canada.
The Liberals are at 50% folks.
Voting harder will never change the calculus.
Canada is a leftist nation.
If you want change for Alberta, the only way you can do that is by supporting #AlbertaIndependence
If I were to share with you the astounding punitive and confiscatory taxes that were levied on me (from both the provincial and federal governments) for an error that was made out of ignorance, it would leave you speechless. I'll say more in due time but the tax authorities are truly a mixture of the worst imaginable Orwellian and Kafkaesque monster. They are robbing us blind. USA, here we come! God bless the United States, the last land of the free.
Without Alberta, Canada can go full Liberal/Marxist forever.
I'm confused as to why the rest of Canada isn't more supportive of Alberta leaving since it's basically expediting their preferred model.

Let me get this straight.
Albertans having dual Alberta-Canada citizenship after independence is somehow “impossible” or “crazy”?
Mark Carney held THREE citizenships — Canadian, British and Irish — and that didn’t stop him from becoming Prime Minister of Canada.
Millions of people around the world hold dual or multiple citizenships.
The real question isn’t whether dual citizenship is possible. It is.
The real question is why some people are so terrified of Albertans having more freedom, more choices and more control over their own future.
Alberta First. Always.
“B0mb.” Really?! That is the most appropriate language to use?
Reminder: government has no money of its own. It is all the public’s money. If the public wants to spend it frivolously it should be allowed, especially since the government does it all the time!
It is also a bit rich to hear public officials and state-sponsored commentators lecture citizens about taxpayer spending while dismissing legitimate public concerns, particularly when their own salaries and positions are funded by the very people they are criticizing.
I think that there’s about a 5% chance that CUSMA gets renewed and a 95% chance the era of free trade with the US is over.
America has plans to break up canada. free trade agreements get in the way
