This is completely unacceptable. We cannot normalize this kind of behavior in society. In the name of comedy, these people are making fun of a victim on a very sensitive topic like rape which is deeply disrespectful.

Humor should never be based on someone’s pain or trauma. This kind of behavior needs to be called out, not accepted.

- He watched old videos of the show to understand what kind of content people usually performed
- He made up a story and exaggerated it to make it funny
- Host encouraged and supported him while doing it
- He now regrets using those words

He deserves to be criticized and trolled for what he said. But hearing him say that his family is stressed because he lost his job and that he doesn't know what to do next genuinely makes me sad.

People should be held accountable for their mistakes but they should also get a second chance. Unlike Sejal Pawar, he doesn't come from a position of privilege where life can easily cushion the consequences. Losing a job can completely shake a middle class family's stability 🥲
