Strasbourg’s case is a difficult one because if you put yourself in their shoes, you will feel pity for them. But then again, they are not losing much because BlueCo like it or not take good care of them.

They are using them for Chelsea but not ignoring the fact that they need to be at a certain level on the pitch. Before Rosenior went to Strasbourg to show himself, Gary O’Neil was already a PL coach and rated higher. So, they are getting a very good manager.

I understand the cries of Strasbourg fans as they are losing their values and tradition as a club, but as soon as you sell your club, the values are definitely going to be trampled on, Chelsea fans can attest to this too. It's a general issue. If you are doing great, you don't see your club. So, there is already a problem which results to a sale of a football club. It's a "you can't eat your cake and have it" situation.

That said, what they have lost is their pride, but they have gained help from BlueCo, elevating their standard on the pitch. Like I always say, the club's name won't change and titles won will be recorded under the club’s name not owners. History will always remember the trophies won by the club not by the owners.

They can be angry at BlueCo and rightly so. They deserve to be angry but demanding the resignation of President Marc Keller is a surprise. Without this man, Strasbourg could be in Ligue 3 or 2. He brought them back to Ligue 1 and tried to keep them competitive in the Ligue 1 but it was very difficult. Near relegation misses was like a warning and he had to sell off knowing he had reached his limit. And I have listened to Ligue 1 club presidents talk about BlueCo and Strasbourg with a lot of jealousy in their words.

Look around, which ownership group in Europe give their sister club as much attention as Strasbourg get from BlueCo, not even City group? What I'm trying to say it that, it could have been worse for them, losing their pride, culture and still not much to show on the pitch.

But despite everything they don't like about BlueCo, they can't say they are bad news for the sporting side of the club. BlueCo always want to improve them with equally better players or coaches. They took Emegha and bought Panichelli, took Sarr and bought Hogsberg, and you can make a case that the replacements are close, equal or better than the ones leaving. Also, Bakwa left, the bought them Enciso who is clearly a better player and so on.

I think they are in good hands and should look at the brighter side. They can't afford to lose Keller or they will regret it.
