@iglucruise@pandocruises Sent as asked. Now been told different information again and even more confused. Wish I could extract the holiday and deal with it myself…
Ongoing 12 month nightmare with @iglucruise. Latest saga includes not liaising with @pandocruises for 3 months and preventing a refund and a holiday upgrade! Booking a trip should be fun.
@piersmorgan please use your panache to give this the visibility it needs. Leaseholders are as fearful (if not more so) of huge bills, than the risk of fire!

Ps #gmb isn’t the same without you!
Currently looking at £90,000 remediation (pre VAT) for ews1 issues. Cannot face bankruptcy due to civil service employment. Affordable? No! Fair? Even less… @RobertJenrick#EndOurCladdingScandal
@mhclg I can help with the maths here (and didn’t need my degree) my flat needs £70m work, I think there are more than 70 flats in the uk… go figure #EndOurCladdingScandal@RobertJenrick
Lockdown is being lifted in under a month, but millions of us will still be financially “locked in” our flats in years to come… the banks are going to have a huge shock when the astronomic bills start piling up!
@BorisJohnson@RobertJenrick#EndOurCladdingScandal
@graeme_a_blair@RobertJenrick Sometimes these things were built to regulations at the time. The biggest issue is trying to impose this retrospectively and the banks going OTT with the government advice. I agree with the VW analogy. Also, new electrical laws come in but not everyone is required to re-wire…
@carcras60282401@RobertJenrick That does sound like a nightmare! I don’t even want to point the finger at anyone really, just want the whole thing not to fall on me and other leaseholders who are not at fault! Any help is better than no help…
@ForestBoy87 @ukcag@RobertJenrick Think there's two things, they can take the lease of you, which the bank could argue against potentially, as they may have a reasonable amount invested in the property, remaining mortgage etc. Second thing, in theory the freeholder could try and sue you.
@ForestBoy87 @ukcag@RobertJenrick Indeed, I only did it as a temporary thing to get myself on the ladder and not pay rent... Fingers crossed your outcome is better!
@ForestBoy87 @ukcag@RobertJenrick Well @RobertJenrick says £78,000 is reasonable so should have that lying round somewhere, just £12,000 left to go... (kidding)
@ForestBoy87 @ukcag@RobertJenrick You can still be liable for the remainder of your mortgage. Typically with repossession you'd have to foot the shortfall. As the current valuation is £0 that would be the remainder of my mortgage :( they could also say that you should pay any maintenance fees in that time too...
