Testground! What a concept!
It's been a fabulous year full of breakthroughs, laughs and new friendships 🔨🃏😻
What's most important, though, is that WE'RE BACK and ready for more! Strap yourselves in for what's to come in 2023 😲🎆

From baby steps to giant strides
Back in 2020 I was fascinated about @run_testground
FF to 2022 and we @CelestiaOrg are running such large network tests (ex. here 100 Validators / 1000 Light Nodes) and catching nasty bugs
Tune in to CSCON[0] to learn about @run_testground, and how we used it to experiment and ship major improvements to @IPFS, @libp2p and @Filecoin!
See you in a few hours 👋
So many accomplishments, innovations & years of work on @IPFS@libp2p@IPLD flowed into the growth & success of the @Filecoin protocol & ecosystem.
I'm so excited for how these protocols will continue to improve & enhance each other going forward! 💪🚀🎉

Testground is so useful!! Super cool to see what @raulvk + team are doing w @run_testground for testing @Filecoin, @IPFS & @libp2p. Many of the recent improvements & fixes to these complex distributed networks are thanks to this new p2p simulation tool. 🙏 https://t.co/4eatNZea5l
🧪 Testground v0.5.3 is out!
We’ve added support for traffic routing policies, improved builders to leverage caching, and added various improvements across the board.
Check out the release notes at: https://t.co/vXFrY6DM7f
I had a great time speaking at @ReadyLayerOne last month about the ✨amazing growth we're seeing in the @IPFS ecosystem, & how IPFS 0.5 made huge improvements to network performance (while also upgrading @libp2p & @run_testground!)🚀
Here's the recording: https://t.co/EuCBjeeGHQ
.@github was very kind to enable the GitHub Discussions Beta on our repo.
If you have a question, request, or something to show the community, pop over and say hi! 👋

(thanks @tweetsbyevi!)
Nice Testground shout-out in the libp2p 2020 update! https://t.co/WIedwlHvy1 Testground was a core tool in the gossipsub hardening work and benchmarking/validation of the @IPFS DHT. Let us know how you're hoping to use Testground in your p2p network!
Testground v0.5.1 is out! 🚀🎉
We've added support for network partitions & improved the developer experience around building test plans. Check out the release notes at https://t.co/exzyiDKi2H
Check out the latest in the #IPFS community in today’s IPFS Weekly newsletter:

Next on the main stage it's @nonsens3 from @protocollabs who'll be teaching us about @run_testground in his talk "Testing of p2p Protocols and Applications at Scale" Tune in live here https://t.co/FAyfRhPr7G
🚀 @Libp2p is heating up! Check out the latest improvements to gossipsub and how we used @run_testground to benchmark and harden our pubsub implementation!
I'm incredibly proud of the work that the Gossipsub Task force did for the newest version of #libp2p PubSub🎉 This version is packed with many hardening extensions and it comes with a new example + a Testground Test Plan for you to play with it as well!

Want a behind the scenes look at the journey to improve DHT performance in IPFS 0.5?
Read our new post on how 0.5 came to be, and why we first built network testing tools like @run_testground to simulate and benchmark our changes: https://t.co/OVDU4TiBIf
@evan_van_ness Some things we’re using @run_testground for at @protocollabs:
* evaluating consensus recovery following network partitions.
* simulating sybil, eclipse and covert attacks on 10k node networks.
* comparing algorithms for balancing data transfers across N seeds / M leeches.
