@elonmusk@grok Additionally, for some of us, we try to spend our SSI as frugally as possible, as if it is handed to us by taxpayers, because it IS. SSI is 'need based' and I am sure it was never intended to be used to purchase online apps. 'Access' to info should not come at a cost. JMO
@elonmusk@grok There was a time when only the rich could afford books. 'Grok', being for members only, is no different. Information now comes at a price that most of us disabled living on SSI/SSDI cannot afford. We should not have to purchase memberships to access the same information. JMO
@ShayBe55 Same as with everything else she does and says, she doesn't realize her own limitations and that she is the one with only four wheels. That 'invincibility' will eventually pull its own DARVO on her and she will be forced to face her issues. It will bite hard when it does. JMO
@ShayBe55 She found a way to monetize her abhorrent actions of her teen years and also figured out how to DARVO those issues and put them behind a mask of 'helping others'. 'Bringing awareness' to a victim's plight does not, should not, result in the revictimization of the victim. JMO
Pretty brave, considering it is TN and dang near everybody I know carries, and the ones that don't still have 'bangs' in their homes for protection. It's only a matter of time and somebody will take out the trash. JMO
@othram Finding my DNA on that string, or the socks I gave her, or her jacket because I borrowed it to go in a travel restroom, or the necklace she had on, or any number of her belongings would at least prove I was actually there and help corroborate my version of events. Rhoades did it!
There comes a time, every garden season, when I look around and realize I have everything potted on into at least half gallon pots and I no longer have any cell packs or six packs to try and keep watered. Life just got so much easier and more efficient. Irrigation next yr.
Leaving the covered seed just slightly below the soil surface the seed and the soil covering them does not touch the boards resting on them. The furrows only need to be half an inch lower than surrounding soil. This method also allows me to backfill if any are 'greening'. HTH
Planting corn, sunflowers, watermelon, cantaloupe, zucchini, crookneck squash, winter squashes, and hopefully seeding another carrot bed. Carrots can take up to 3 wks to germinate. We seed them in little furrows and then cover them with boards until they germinate.
If I spray paint rebar with white Rustoleum will it still get hot, too hot for plants? Can I use rebar for longer lasting stakes as long as I do paint them w/white spray paint meant for metals?
I'm thinking that way they c/b pounded in with the same stake pounder we use for metal stakes for our hotwire. Hmmm, maybe I should do a cost comparison here.
Picked the first of the green beans. Going to have to just stick them in the refrigerator. Too tired to do anything with them RN. They'll be there tomorrow, 'eh? Glad I am not the one cooking here tonight.
Whupped.
Satisfied.
Proud.
Happy.

Sun's up!
Get outside, if you can!
Good morning.
Off to the gardens I go, again.
Laying out the new greenhouse perimeter with string today. Collecting and staging materials. I swore I'd not do 'grow lights' in my camper again, and I am keeping my word to myself. :)
OMGosh, I am so excited to finally get this thing started. I have been collecting materials for years, a decade or more, at least. :) Such a wonderful feeling!
Oh! I also already have the pavers to put down. There's enough to cover the entire footprint. Hubby and I went and scavenged them from a tear down around a pool many, many, years ago. :) I'll just have to be sure and do the base work properly to prevent frost heaving. :) <grin>
