@sverrejoh What's the reason it chmods? Hasn't been a problem for our builds, but it's annoying nonetheles. You could use a platform env var in the config to get separate caches for each platform though

@sverrejoh Yeah, that's annoying. But it's the client, not the server causing it. The client just ships over tar.gz files that the server stores.

Since I'm old enough to remember the so-called Web 2.0 phenomenon, I think we need to remember what it was really based on. I see three things:

1. AJAX requests
2. JQuery and dynamic DOM rendering
3. Low-barrier to entry server-side scripting via (PHP, Perl, etc)
