Future: I have crippling anxiety and depression mostly stemming from my years in poverty and doing unspeakable things to escape my situation. I find it hard to maintain deep connections with others due to my trust issues and cope by sleeping with copious amounts of women who I will never commit to and I shower them with material possessions so they will stick around and provide me with instant gratification. I have many children that I fail to provide with the necessary nurturing for their development. Sometimes I question whether I even want to continue living
Me:
magic had the audacity to say “i’ll just play like i did in high school” in the nba finals, then went out and dominated to clinch the championship. and he was a rookie. for my money, considering the circumstances, the greatest single game finals performance ever. legendary.

A simple message with big meaning: "I am somebody." We are grateful to Rev. Jesse Jackson for helping teach generations of children to believe in themselves and in one another. Thank you for being part of our neighborhood. 💛💚
"Most poor people are not on welfare...They work hard every day...They catch the early bus. They work every day. They raise other people's children. They work every day. They clean the streets. They work every day...They changed the beds you slept in these hotels last night & can't get a union contract. They work everyday. No no-- they're not lazy! Someone myst defend them, because it's right, and they cannot speak for themselves...They work in hospitals -- I know they do. They wipe the bodies of those who are sick with fever and in pain. They empty their bed pans. They clean out their commodes -- no job is beneath them-- yet when they get sick they cannot lie in the bed they made up every day. America that is not right. We are a better nation than that." - Jesse Jackson
