@Sflecce@MPPBarnesAjax@MichaelParsa@SteveClarkPC@ToddJMcCarthy What I'd really like to see is adequate funding for supports, like EAs, for students with intellectual disabilities in our schools.
Inclusion in name-only is failing our children and families.
@ChristineKlucz4@nurgulistann@ONTSpecialNeeds Absolutely, daughter in grade 1 with intellectual disability and ADHD and not one single positive comment on her recent report card. Not one mention of how kind she is to others, how hard she works to follow instructions, no mention of the progress she IS making. Heartbreaking.
@Sflecce By not providing funding for more EA supports in schools you are essentially doing just that. You are preventing students with disabilities from even coming close to reaching their potential.
@JarettSays My teenage self needed this 20+years ago. The number of times boys felt it their responsibility to comment and belittle me because of the size of my breasts broke down my self-confidence. Thank you, Florence, for saying what so many of us wish we had.
We partnered with @SJA_KW to introduce a Therapy Dog program. The dogs will be available to support victims and survivors of human trafficking and sexual offences, ensuring they receive comfort and assistance throughout the entire investigation. https://t.co/uqOdMRX9zp
Proud to cheer on @TheCodFatherKW as he took part in the 2021 Polar Plunge.
The water bin may have been a bit smaller this year, but his commitment remains strong.

For years people with disabilities were told by companies that they couldn't be accommodated with work from home options.
When the pandemic hit & all the abled bodied people needed to be kept safe, suddenly every company had the ability to accommodate working from home.
