Call out to GPs. Do you have a spare 5-10 minutes to complete a survey on OAC treatment for AF? The survey is part of a study looking at patient persistence and adherence to OAC treatment. The study is being led by Prof Charlotte Hespe from UNDA. https://t.co/gXNZmZxgVI
As our @RACGP NSW/ACT Chair @runningdoc14 told @LanieT96 - the ‘Sick Tax’ will force many practices to charge patients more or shut up shop. The ACT Government must act on payroll tax on tenant GPs and make this a priority. #SickTax https://t.co/bPNtpLXOlc
Here’s a brief message from our NSW Chair, @runningdoc14 Charlotte Hespe, on what she’s most looking forward to about hosting #WONCASydney2023 in her home state. #GP23

A great piece of data journalism and visualisation. You’ll be amazed. This square is the average Australian salary – see how it compares to the size of planned t… https://t.co/ynapWXnrVv
The @RACGP backs rigorous systems to stop overbilling. However, this problem is not universal. The vast bulk of GPs do the right thing and the $8b figure remains unproven. In fact, 47% of surveyed GPs avoided claiming services due to compliance fears.

all over Australia! The shortage of GPs has never been worse and unfortunately & not getting better - only 13.8% of new grads choosing GP! Years of underfunding and band aid measures have led to this! @Mark_Butler_MP@PictonChris https://t.co/C8tzRgE3KO @RACGP@ACRRM@ama_media
We need to empower people to say NO - please don’t make the health system more expensive just because its easier to repeat things. Please ask my GP.
We need a connected system for sharing important health data

The Govt’s proposal for a new in-home aged care program does not include GPs. The @RACGP believes this is a missed opportunity to support better integrated GP-led care for older people. We are key to improving the health and wellbeing of these patients and must be front of mind.
Thank you @JillannFarmer for describing the efforts required by GPs in the current siloed primary care setting to ensure medication management is safe
We urgently need connected systems of care

A really well articulated insight into the problems facing delivery of high quality GP care to Australians @Mark_Butler_MP@RACGPPresident
We need changes to the perverse disincentives to primary care urgently
