@irish_jezebel Beautifully put. Yes, what is that! And I wonder if everyone feels it. Maybe as I get older my heart and mind is a little more open.
The beauty has always been there, maybe now I stop and look more. But it is nice when I recognise it.
@irish_jezebel 100% bang on. I was guilty of that too for a while, dismissed her as another popster, until a string of lyrics hit home to me, I started to listen more intently. I find I can relate to that rawness sometimes, even though I may not of experienced it myself. Love that about music
@nellakitson Weigh yourself before ever long run a d weigh yourself immediately after, you should be the same weight, if below you need more water. 1 kg is equal to one litre, so if your 1/2 kilo lighter, you should have drank a 1/2 litre more on your run. Hope this helps π
@nellakitson Hi Nella,
Good running and I'd say with 19 miles under your belt you in good shape for 7th April.
For the recovery, just get lots of protein in (growth and repair)
750 ml for 19 miles is way too little. My rule of thumb is 500ml every 5 miles, you're going to cramp otherwise.
@irish_jezebel Sometimes we find happiness in the simplest of things, I try find what that thing is.
I also believe we have to experience bad times to appreciate the good.
Trying to slow the mind and the waters or rapids in my case, stop, breath and take it all in.
Happy for you πͺ
