A Noblesville High School student put up a very milquetoast poster advertising her pro-life club. The high school forced her to take it down and later disbanded the club.
She sued. Federal courts ruled against her. The Supreme Court refused to hear the case and let the lower court ruling stand.
Something to remember when Noblesville schools asks for more property taxes this year.

FUCKING OUTRAGEOUSLY EMBARRASSING STUPIDITY...@AOC
You historically illiterate girl...
You just humiliated yourself on a global stage by cackling like a hyena at Marco Rubio for daring to state the blindingly obvious fact that the American cowboy tradition traces straight back to Spain.
And you did it with that smug, vacant-eyed sneer that screams “I skimmed Wikipedia once and now I’m an expert.”
Let’s carve this into your skull with the precision of a Toledo blade.
The cowboy... the archetype you think sprang fully formed from some John Wayne fever dream...is a direct descendant of the Spanish vaquero.
Full stop.
Not “Mexican” in the modern national sense you’re desperately trying to retrofit onto history.
Not some spontaneous invention of Black or Indigenous Americans...though they later contributed brilliantly.
The core practices, tools, vocabulary, and culture came from Spain.
Spain domesticated cattle in Europe for millennia.
Spain mastered mounted herding on the Iberian Peninsula..
After 1492, Spanish conquistadors and colonists brought horses...reintroduced to the Americas after extinction...and longhorn cattle to New Spain...what is now Mexico and the Southwest U.S. By the 1500s–1600s, the hacienda system in colonial Mexico produced the vaquero:
Expert horsemen who roped, branded, drove, and managed massive herds using lariats, chaparreras...chaps... sombreros, spurs, and saddles that were Spanish in design and name.
The word “rodeo” is literally Spanish. “Lasso” is Spanish. “Bronco” is Spanish. “Mustang” derives from Spanish...mesteño.
The entire goddamn lexicon of cowboy life is Spanish because the tradition is Spanish.
When Anglo-Americans moved into Texas and the Southwest in the 1800s, they learned ranching from Mexican vaqueros...who were themselves inheriting centuries of Spanish technique.
The Texas longhorn drives, the open-range culture, the cattle trails...all built on the foundation laid by Spain centuries earlier.
You mocking Rubio for pointing out that the cowboy’s roots are Spanish is like mocking someone for saying pizza has Italian origins because Americans later added pineapple.
It’s not just ignorant... it’s a deliberate, ideologically driven erasure of historical fact to shoehorn your preferred narrative into reality.
Your brain doesn’t malfunction because you lack intelligence.
It malfunctions because you’re addicted to the dopamine rush of moral superiority.
You don’t seek truth; you seek applause from the terminally online who need to believe every iconic American symbol must be “decolonized” or credited to marginalized groups...even when the historical record says otherwise.
You’re not just wrong, Alexandria.
You’re a living embodiment of weaponized ignorance: loud, proud, and utterly convinced that feelings trump facts.
The lineage is Spanish → colonial Mexican vaquero → American cowboy.
Swallow it. And next time you feel the urge to laugh at actual history, maybe try reading a fucking book instead.
I'm absolutely shocked that you did not say they spoke "Mexican"...
I'm eternally, vicariously embarrassed and full of cringe every time you open your mouth.
💀
A recent statement by Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez illuminates the Marxist ideology which continues to take hold of American politicians. Here are my thoughts.
Joey Jones brilliantly lays out the facts in the Minnesota shooting...just the facts, without the political BS.
If there's anybody else in the room when Pres Trump and Gov Walz meet...it should be Joey.
@libsoftiktok@myccs@myccs great job indoctrinating these kids. Complete lack of awareness and reality. What about the actual citizens of this country that are suffering because of illegals?
Advent in the Old Rite “works” because of the tension between penance and unbridled joy.
There’s something oddly depressing about the Novus Ordo Advent, rooted in the fact the reformers couldn’t quite decide what it was.
At Indiana University, 120 students have shown interest in converting to Catholicism, and the university has reported a 20 percent increase in Mass attendance.

Cardinal Robert Sarah: Banning or suspending the Extraordinary Form can only be inspired by the devil. I am of the opinion of Benedict XVI. What was holy and sacred yesterday cannot be condemned to disappear today. What harm does the Traditional Mass cause? What harm?
@BallState Not good enough. Charlie never once stated he hated anyone just because who they were or thought they were. Your inaction as a university speaks volumes.
Dear pro sports leagues: Looking forward to seeing you release statements & send condolences to Charlie Kirk’s family after he was murdered for his political beliefs. You know - kinda like you did when career criminal George Floyd died. @NFL@NBA@WNBA@MLB@NHL
Appreciate the @Yankees for holding a moment of silence tonight.
One of Charlie Kirk's last videos was to honour the Blessed Virgin Mary and to tell Protestants and Evangelicals to honour her more
He called her the solution to 'toxic feminism'
This is one for my fellow Catholics:
In recent decades, many modernist Catholic parishes have shifted toward contemporary music at Mass, often using guitars, drums, and songs that closely resemble pop music. While this shift may have been intended to make worship more accessible and engaging, it has also resulted in a significant loss of the solemnity, reverence, and transcendence that once characterized Catholic liturgy. The Church’s musical tradition, Gregorian chant, polyphony, and sacred choral works, was not merely an artistic preference but a deliberate expression of worship oriented toward the divine. These forms elevate the soul, lift the mind to God, and embody the timeless beauty of the Catholic faith. It is especially important for children to hear these songs as they grow up
When Mass is accompanied by pop-style music, the focus can easily shift from worshiping God to being entertained. Guitars and modern songs may evoke a casual atmosphere that mirrors a concert or social gathering rather than the sacred sacrifice of the Eucharist. In contrast, chant and sacred choral music create an atmosphere of awe, mystery, and prayerfulness, reminding the faithful that they are entering into something far greater than themselves. Pope Benedict XVI often stressed that sacred music must be distinct from everyday music, pointing toward heaven rather than toward the culture of the world. This is also why you dress up when attending church in your 'Sunday Best.'
A return to choir and traditional Catholic music is about reclaiming the depth and universality of the Church’s heritage. Music shapes the way we pray, and prayer shapes the way we believe. When the Mass is clothed in music that has been sanctified by centuries of devotion, it connects worshippers to generations past and anchors them in the unbroken tradition of the Church.
Restoring this sacred music would revive a sense of reverence and mystery that too often is lost in parishes today, allowing the faithful to once again experience the Mass as heaven touching earth.
