This is how you do NEIGHBORS!!

A couple notices a middle schooler waiting for the bus at the edge of their driveway every morning. They put out a bench and make it his official bus stop. The doorbell cam catches him jumping when he sees it, then holding up a handwritten thank you note. Then they build him a little outdoor library.

Everybody talks about how kids today have no manners. That kid wrote a thank you note by hand and held it up to the camera. Somebody raised him right.

And the neighbors could've just been annoyed a kid was standing on their property every day. They decided to make his mornings better.

I'm raising two boys and this is the stuff I want them to see. Notice people. Do something small. And when someone does something for you, say thank you.

It takes a village, or is that a thing of the past?

@BrittSoMuch Born and raised in Buffalo. When the Tampa Bay lightening hockey team was formed, became a fan of them. My first starter jacket(showing my age) was the lighting. The Bills & Sabres are going to be my 1st favorite but the lightening are my favorite when my hockey was out!
