1/10: Intro
This week, F45 added this exercise to their 1000+ gyms.
It’s a scalable mobility solution I’ve used in coaching Super Bowl champs and grandmas alike.
I’ve threaded it many times, but I’m going to try to make this my most detailed technique guide yet…
Doing the runners lunge properly is important for your run! Ensure your front thigh can move, using dynamic stretching and supported stretching. This running preparation can help prevent injury.🏃♀️
Here's running drill. Forward lunge. You hold your body up, separating your feet slightly, and pull your front foot and be ready. As soon as you start pulling, you're going to travel, so pull quick. So then you can practice the action of running for any speed or distance. Now, you can try it on our free app or join us. https://t.co/dqzNk2SqqT
Thank you.
🪢 Jump Rope for Runners? Here’s Why It Works!
Want to build better elasticity and improve your running form? 🏃♀️ Add in jump rope drills! Not only does it mimic your run movement, but it also trains you to keep your knees bent and torso lifted—just like during your run.
✅ Use jump rope to build muscle elasticity
✅ Practice ball-of-foot hops to reduce impact
✅ No rope? No problem—visualize the rhythm
✅ Feel the "fall" and start running naturally!
This simple drill boosts your stride and lightens your step. Try it and feel the difference in your run.
