@BlueJayBlue2@CanadianPenny1 The potatoes are grated and then their juices are squeezed out through cheesecloth. At that point, a volume of broth equal to the amount of liquid that was squeezed out is substituted.
@jamiekwil@colonelkurtz99 At that age, friends die on you all the time wherever you live. My dad used to be involved in the golden Kiwanas and he used to joke that they had to take attendance at the beginning and ending of the meetings to see if anybody had died in the meantime.
@TheCon2024@washingtonpost@grok Its from the report given by Mr. Elliott on the committee on Public buildings and grounds to the 68th congress on 1/27/1925. SERIALSET-08390_00_00-161-1291-0000.pdf https://t.co/8Md77FCMGm
@TheCon2024@washingtonpost@grok Here is the basis for the 14.75 million claim: " This commission unanimously favors the immediate commencement of this important and generally approved project, under a 10-year program of construction, with a total expenditure in the 10-year period of $14,750,000. " 1/2
@washingtonpost This project was completed and opened to the public in 1932. the much smaller towers were only in the preliminary plans. How does a rejected proposal for 166' columns get translated as approval for a 250' arch?
@washingtonpost That project that was proposed in 1913, put on the back burner due to war (no funds were allotted), was resurrected in 1925. The columns were part of the bridge joining DC and VA. No more than $14.75 million was to be spent. The towers were rejected as interfering with airfields.
@CanadianPenny1 I first saw the still of the video in frame 4. I wondered why you were wearing a mask. I blew it up and then I realized you were playing with a ball. Looks like you had a great day.
@Kristinartz I remember doing that. Then rolling the clothes up and putting them in the fridge to get the full effect, then ironing. I remember my mom finding an iron "that spit steam like a steam engine" and she was so disappointed when she didn't have enough money to buy it.
@slettvegen1@bemorebob2 Just in case they don't see your question, the "naughty" one is Dolly and the well-behaved one us Bob. Bob is about 8 years old, but Dolly is still a puppy, not made a full trip round the sun yet, so EVERYTHING is pretty new and exciting to her.
@CharlieHudz You look such a dapper gentleman in it, I'm sure you didn't want to get it wet and spoil the effect. You knew mum would put it back on you. Such quick thinking!
@CarlBovisNature That would be June 2007. My whole family visited England and Scotland, and one of the places in the Yorkshire Dales had fields with multiple sightings. Where I live though, has rabbits. They pop up on occasion in the neighborhood.
@lorraineandlill Have you looked into red light therapy? They have a do-it at home version like Helio pet. I know one person on-line who tried it and it really helped, but I can't give any guarantees.
