Sustainability Projects Officer for the Royal Bournemouth & Christchurch NHS Trust trying to help make Dorset cleaner, greener and a more sustainable place
Last December I was kindly invited to be a contributor for the Dorset Council's Call for Ideas programme as part of their Draft Climate & Ecological Emergency Strategy. I'm happy to share that the Council's draft is now published! #Dorset#DorsetCouncil#SustainableDevelopment
We've just published our draft Climate and Ecological Emergency Strategy online, ahead of next week's Place Scrutiny Committee meeting.
A huge thank you goes to everyone who has been involved in this work so far 🌎

@melaniejparr @DorsetCouncilUK@BCPCouncil I understand the two separate councils decision making powers. Just with little or no collaborative decision making puts everyone at risk across Dorset.
@DorsetRachel@Simon4NDorset@DorsetCouncilUK@BCPCouncil Fully understand the decision making process here. Just making the point that the complete lack of harmonising such decisions are still putting Dorset residents (both BCP & Dorset) at risk. Do appreciate @DorsetCouncilUK stance though as is the correct one I feel.

Wanting to set up a similar support scheme here @RBCH_NHS to provide safer discharges of patients to fuel efficient homes & keep healthy. Together we can break the cycle #fuelpoverty#NHS#sustainability#healthyhomesdorset @CSE_HomeEnergy @cse_communities

The consequences of #fuelpoverty are truly shocking. Our #GE2019 Manifesto sets out what politicians need to do to end this scandal. https://t.co/SlgXYgxYTT
Proud to start today as the @cse_bristol champion for #Dorset to deliver @CitizensAdvice Big Energy Saving Network & Big Energy Saving Week 19/20 campaigns. Whether it's info on switching suppliers/tariffs, we aim to support vulnerable households #StayWarm and lower energy bills
Really enjoyed presenting today to the Weymouth Carers Group @DorsetCouncilUK about the work we do through @healthyHomesDorset and the @cse_bristol in making homes healthier & safer for people and more energy efficient!
