@leahfiles "Last week I said it looked like we could be stealing about $11 billion from Venezuela." Really? Could? Only $11 billion? It was never meant to be other way, what were you thinking? Have you not been paying attention? It's been a robbery at gunpoint from the beginning.
🚨 Here's Every Time The US Has Coup'ed A Latin American Country Since 1950 🚨
Sadly, when the US government invaded Venezuela and kidnapped their president this weekend, they committed a horrific and criminal act that is not new for the United States. Below is all the times the US has kidnapped, assassinated and invaded a Latin American country in order to create regime change since 1950. But in order to cut it down to a reasonable number, I left out lawfare coups, economic warfare, funding of guerrilla groups, and attempted coups (with one or two exceptions). Please include any I missed in the comment section.
Here it is —
1954 — Guatemala — President Jacobo Árbenz — Overthrown in CIA Operation PBSUCCESS
1960s, 70s, 80s — Cuba — Prime Minister Fidel Castro — The US tried to assassinate him about 634 times and invaded the country during the Bay of Pigs
1961 — Dominican Republic — Rafael Trujillo — US-backed coup and assassination
1964 — Brazil — President João Goulart — US-supported coup
1965 — Dominican Republic — President Juan Bosch — US-supported coup
1970 — Chile — General René Schneider — US-supported kidnapping and assassination
1971 — Bolivia — President Juan José Torres — US-supported coup
1973 — Chile — President Salvador Allende — US-backed coup and “s-icide” of Allende
1976 — Argentina — President Isabel Perón — US-backed coup
1976 — Bolivia (in exile in Argentina) — former President Juan José Torres — US-supported assassination
1981 — Panama — General Omar Torrijos — Death in suspicious plane crash with likely US support
1981 — Ecuador — President Jaime Roldós — Death in suspicious plane crash with likely US support
1983 — Grenada — Prime Minister Maurice Bishop — US invasion and removal of Bishop in Operation Urgent Fury
1980s — Nicaragua — Sandinista government — Sustained covert regime-change war
1989 — Panama — Gen. Manuel Noriega — Invasion, kidnapping and transfer to US custody in Operation Just Cause
2002 — Venezuela — President Hugo Chávez — Kidnapped by US-backed military forces for less than 48 hours before being restored to power
2004 — Haiti — President Jean-Bertrand Aristide — Kidnapped and flown to Africa on a US military plane
2009 — Honduras — President Manuel Zelaya — US-backed kidnapping and coup
2026 — Venezuela — President Nicolás Maduro — US kidnapping and extraction to US custody

🚨 They didn't "capture" Maduro - they kidnapped him & his wife. The US is coup'ing a sovereign nation with no justification. The only REAL justification is that Venezuela has the largest known oil reserves on the planet.
After the US government bombed a boat in the Gulf of Venezuela and killed the people inside, the wreckage washed ashore in Colombia.
Journalists investigated the site. There was no fentanyl or cocaine. Instead, they found marijuana, which is legal in most US states.
Trump claims these people selling weed are “narco-terrorists” and have to be extrajudicially executed by a foreign military.
Obviously the US war on Venezuela actually has nothing to do with drugs. That's the cynical excuse to justify the Trump admin's colonial war of aggression, which seeks to overthrow Venezuela's independent, sovereign government, privatize the country's plentiful natural resources, and sell them off to US corporations.

- 🧵 THREAD — 20 facts about the Venezuelan economy 🇻🇪 by @ChrisRodrigAl You will see that the United States is not only trying to distance Venezuela from China. 👉 They also want to crash its economy again to blame 'socialism that doesn’t work.' Except that...
It should be pointed out that this tanker wasn’t even sanctioned, but it’s ALSO illegal, belligerent, and wrong to seize unilaterally sanctioned oil!! Don’t let the goalposts move.
@piersmorgan Ahhhh, of course! You repeated these lies for almost 2 years, but now you pretend otherwise! How silly of you to think we wouldn't notice.
The moral depravity and bankruptcy of (all) Western corporate journalism exposed for the world to see by Iranian Professor Marandi who exists on a completely different moral plane. Brilliant exposure, more Marandi please.
US-backed rioters blocked 70% of Nicaragua’s roads for months in 2018 and killed dozens of people. Similar story with US-backed protests in Venezuela in 2014 and 2017. The US wont tolerate for 1 day what it demands governments it hates tolerate indefinitely
Why isn’t the genocide in Gaza being stopped?
Because it pays—and racism justifies it.
My upcoming report lays it bare.
Palestinians have long been the testing ground for weapons, tech, and even agriculture.
If you think you are not involved, you are naive.
If you think you are safe—you are not paying attention.
