@BrndnStrssng Great take. It’s like the whole movie was Marvel saying ‘Trust us, you still love superheros, guys! They are the best.’ Even the retro-futurism was sign posting nostalgia.
@SpicyDragon90 I’ve bought some SP in the past. But often take long breaks due to burn out. I think this is a knock on from their self publishing — they now need to make more money to recoup costs. Or were always pushing for more P2W and now have full control. I have no plans to play again.
@bullseye_qwerty Turning ‘play to get a card’ into ‘play to get a discount on a card that you’ll need to top up with gold’ is pretty shitty. The ‘sorry not sorry’ reply was even worse.
@DanT_The_DM I got infinate day 1 with this (minus lasher). I would say this is actually a very good deck with lots of very strong but low power cards that get seriously buffed by the bro. It’s also a very easy deck to snap and retreat with.
Things are gearing up for NZGF and Play by Play 2024 and we need your help! We are looking for volunteers in a range of roles to join our team! Check out the link below for roles and more info!

@SnapSkiddy One dimensional cards like Shuri, Galactus and Alioth have always been a problem in Snap, because they say ‘why think about the opponent is doing, when I can just slam down my unbeatable combo?’
@ZombiesGoNomNom It seems like the whole game is fully based around ‘flavour of the month’ busted cards now — that just happen to be on sale now! Very sad to see how such a great game lost its way.
@nornXP Alioth completely undid the one of the only really good balance change the game made, and turned it back into a one dimensional priority war with a cheesy win con.
@nathanbaugh27 They are just 12 classic beats to ensure your story goes somewhere. More like a set of guiding principles than a one-and-done roadmap. The key thing is first act break, mid point crisis, and enough character progression to help drive it home for the 3rd act.
