As a new FY1, having just certified my very first death - on a very, very, long night shift - I made myself a cup of NHS tea.

The nurse in charge subsequently threatened me with disciplinary action for ‘stealing’.

As a new ICU Registrar in Aus, I was asked for my address - so the hospital could send me a thank you hamper.

The NHS is terrible employer.

PAs are “medical professionals”, to be registered by the General MEDICAL Council… but never studied Medicine….
