Phil conceived and led the transformative Integrated Cardiac Network which now means the outcomes for patients with a STEMI in rural SA are as good as for those living in the city. Vale

Incredibly sad news for the @sahealth family with the passing of Dr Phil Tideman AM.

All doctors work to save lives, but by creating @iCCnetSA Phil saved the lives of countless patients he never even met.

A giant of regional and cardiac health, Phil will be missed by all. RIP

SA rural GPs held a crisis meeting after SA Health refused to consider contract reform. SA urgently needs a package that fairly values the work rural doctors do in hospitals and which is attractive to the next generation of rural doctors.
