@asosin @NHBulletinNews 100% agree... I am studying rural mergers for my dissertation. We know so little about the impacts of mergers (like, 11 studies in the last 13 years?) and yet the pace of rural hospital mergers is increasing. It's alarming.

We need to increase the numbers of health workers, increase the flexibility of the workforce to work in different ways, and we need to support our health workers in practice. And, we need to rigorously EVALUATE our workforce strategies to know what works next time. 2/2
