It is alarming and extremely disturbing to see people come before congress, under oath, and refuse to answer basic questions about what we all know and saw.
BLUMENTHAL: Was the Capitol attacked on January 6?
BERTHIAUME: Uh. We had activity outside the Capitol, protests and such
BLUMENTHAL: Was the Capitol attacked? You're supposed to be the inspector general
BERTHIAUME: There was protest activity
RAJU: The president keep saying the California election was rigged. What evidence have you seen to show there has been widespread fraud?
SCALISE: You had wide changes after election night in the results
RAJU: They're just counting the ballots
SCALISE: Look, whether you can prove fraud or not, it does undermine voter integrity in the vote
BREAM: The Journal says the percentage of delinquent credit card balances is 13%, the highest since the period following the financial crisis. People say they're using them for necessities. Your message to them?
HASSETT: We talk to the CEOs of the credit card companies all the time. Delinquency is different from default, and there's not any financial threat to the credit card companies. It's just people are taking a little bit longer.
BARTIROMO: If we continue to spend all the money on Medicare, Medicaid, Social Security, we won't have any money left to spend on anything else, right?
BESSENT: We gotta work on the here and now. I always call it, 'crawl, walk, run.'
