A Tax Audit is not merely the filing of Form 3CD. It involves examination of books and records, reconciliation, verification of supporting documents, tax analysis, documentation and professional judgement.

The quality of this process directly affects the accuracy of tax reporting and the integrity of the compliance system.

WHY IS AN EXTENSION NEEDED?

A thorough audit cannot be reduced to a race against the clock.

Please look closely at the medical document being used for this fund request.

The genuine estimate issued by the hospital does not mention cancer or immunotherapy anywhere. The hospital has confirmed that the patient used to receive treatment on an OPD basis under the UP CM Fund scheme. During the patient’s last OPD visit on 09 September 2026, the doctor specifically advised: “Provide estimate for CM Fund.” The estimate was accordingly issued for availing support under the UP CM Fund scheme.

This estimate is now being used in repeated appeals seeking funds for cancer treatment and immunotherapy, with claims that the patient is in the ICU and that immunotherapy could not be started due to lack of funds.

The hospital has confirmed that the patient is not a cancer patient and is not undergoing immunotherapy.

Please exercise caution and verify the authenticity of any fund request before contributing or sharing it.
