.. but without Neil Peart😔

In 2002 fans asked if post-tragedy Rush would be as good? Would Rush be simply a tribute to their incredible past?

Rush did not disappoint👍 and went out on top. The R40 tour proved why the trio would forever remain the kings of prog rock🤘

I last saw Rush live on July 27, 2015😊.. a week later, they played their final show in LA🙁 Neil was done and band announced it was over.

More a decade later, Rush is now kicking off their R50 tour. and in 2026, fans may be asking themselves if post-Neil Rush would be as good as the original? Would Rush be simply a tribute to their incredible past?

I hope so🤘 .. a tribute to their music, their fans, their live shows, their past, their lyricist and their bandmate🙏

In 2016, Rush made it official. Neil was done and band was over.

I had wanted a tattoo in tribute to Neil [see 𝗪𝗵𝘆 𝗡𝗲𝗶𝗹 𝗣𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝗠𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀?👇] .. and with the end of the band, little chance they would produce a late-career crappy album🤣

After a year of thinking about various designs, I finally decided to make it happen. I knew my artist understood when I saw at ‘Farewell to Kings’ sticker on his cabinet🤘 As he’s started the tattoo needles, ‘2112” played on the parlor speakers🥹.. who has ‘2112’ in their playlist? Neil was there🌅

A Rush starman tatt represents what Neil meant to my life. I originally did NoT include Neil’s name on my tatt in the rare case Neil pulled a Springsteen* and said stupid sh!t** after his career was over

After Neil passed on January 7, 2020.. and following the covid scare.. I added Neil’s signature to my starman tatt👍
