Galatians 4:21–31
Paul explains the difference between Hagar (slave woman) and Sarah (free woman) as symbolic of two covenants:

“Abraham had two sons, one by a slave woman and the other by a free woman. The son of the slave was born according to the flesh; the son of the free woman through promise. These women are two covenants. One is from Mount Sinai, bearing children for slavery; she is Hagar… But the Jerusalem above is free, and she is our mother… Now you, brothers and sisters, like Isaac, are children of promise… Cast out the slave woman and her son, for the son of the slave woman shall not inherit with the son of the free woman.”

@lisaknows429 @Mish_K_ Not it at all. God's covenant with the Jewish people was that the Messiah would come from them. He came, many converted. The one's that didn't, left the covenant. The covenant continues with Jesus and Israel is in Heaven not on earth.
