In efforts to synthesize seagrass knowledge in Tanzania, a two-day workshop is underway in Tanga. 🌴
The workshop is facilitated by the School of Aquatic Sciences and Fisheries Technology (SoAF) at the University of Dar es Salaam and supported by WIOMSA.
The Tanzania Fisheries Research Institute (TAFIRI) @TAFIRI_TZ turned 40 yrs this August. TAFIRI was established in 1980 but was operationalized in August 1983 when the 1st Board of Directors & the first Director General were appointed by the then President of Tanzania, JK Nyerere
