@hulse_angie @AlabamaSB It’s déjà vu last season’s WCWS all over again; announcing crew forgot Texas was playing TT—it was Longhorns vs Nija. She’s a great athlete, but she still needs the 9 others in the lineup—I’ve yet to see her leave the circle and snag a fly in centerfield, or turn a 6-4-1U.

What I don’t understand about nixing the previous desalination proposal; is there no other way to dispose of the brine other than dumping it into the bay? Is it not a suitable byproduct for any other use?

@ArthurFrDent @TracesofTexas The 4x5 format has a lot to do with the clarity, but in this shot he nailed the lighting, which is the key to true sharpness. Many Speed Graphic shots from the era have sharp shadows that inhibit much of the photo’s detail.
