Congratulations to Lily Miller and Marley Clark for being the State Champions in the Discovery Food Science Demonstration! They presented a dynamic demo about the science of popcorn!

Congratulations to Jenna Lawler for placing 1st in Agriscience. She measured the decibel levels of agricultural sounds and analyzed hearing protection. A HUGE thank you to the farms & businesses that allowed Jenna to take decibel readings and to those that filled out her survey!

Congratulations to Meredith Erwin for placing second in the Persuasive Essay LDE! She wrote a fantastic essay about the future of agriculture in a high pressure situation with limited time!

A great first day of state convention! I was too nervous to take many photos, but we have a few highlighting our day! Competitions in the morning, Malibu Jacks in the afternoon and the first session this evening with the National Officer keynote!
