@Chefdoo95@adidasfootball@FIFAWorldCup The problem with that is FIFA itself has a rule that says touching a player’s hair does not qualify as a touching when determining offsides … FIFA knows its own rules but broke this one to help Portugal
@En_Vita_Vazhi FIFA rules explain that grazing the hair on a player’s head is not touching unless the hair (like a man bun) changes the ball’s direction
@UTDRico8 One … I think the the rules specify that hair does not count as part of the head when determining offside or other plays
Two … how can a ref determine a defender’s intent? … the defender headed the ball … it seems more appropriate to assume he did it on purpose
@xOlajuwon@RGIII I know … it’s next to impossible on a phone to capture the exact moment the ball is kicked … that’s why I was hoping they would’ve showed the VAR view … it seems like they’ve showed it every other time it was close during this World Cup
@ArtHains@RedRaiderSports You know that’s not true … the local judge recused himself … it was a judge from Ft Worth, who went to the University of Houston law school and a University of Texas school for undergrad
@BobbyCarpShow@Bcarp3 The bigger issue is that the National Council on Problem Gambling found that 33% of respondents aged 21 to 44 had placed a sports bet before turning 21 and over 20 million had addiction issues … and betting apps are pushed hard by all sports media
@Aaron_Torres@AaronTorresPod Why do Indiana and Cincinnati get a pass? They knew it was going on, hid the fact, and played him anyway … what about Texas? … they had two players last year doing the same thing … in fact, I wonder if there’s a single team in D1 that doesn’t have a player or coach doing it
@DanWolken@YahooSports I wonder which programs haven’t had players gambling on games? We know Indiana, Cincinnati, and Texas have but kept it hush hush

@rcb05@doug_keegan Tech won the trolling battle this time … Sark popped off and McGuire handed it to him … the silliness of Sark’s comment and the irrationality of Texas playing Tech are irrelevant at this point … just great trolling
